UK ETA Requirement

Starting 8 January 2025, citizens of Antigua and Barbuda will be required to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before travelling to the United Kingdom. The introduction of this new requirement aligns with the UK government’s ongoing efforts to enhance border security and streamline travel processes.

The UK ETA is a digital travel authorisation that must be completed online prior to departure and is valid for short-term visits, including tourism, business, or transit purposes. Citizens of Antigua and Barbuda can apply for the ETA easily via the official UK government website, with approval typically granted within minutes. 

Travellers are advised to ensure they apply for their ETA in advance of their travel date to avoid any delays. The ETA will be mandatory for all passengers travelling from Antigua and Barbuda to the UK.
