Governor General of Antigua and Barbuda

His Excellency Sir Rodney Williams GCMG, KGN, KSt J, DSc, PhD(h.c), MBBS, FCAMA is a prominent Antiguan physician and philanthropist who serves as the Governor-General of Antigua and Barbuda, representing the British monarch in Antigua and Barbuda, a role he continues to serve with distinction.  His Excellency is a trained medical doctor specializing in internal medicine and has held various leadership roles where he served as President of the Antigua and Barbuda Medical Association.  Beyond his medical career, Sir Rodney is known for his charitable work, particularly supporting education, healthcare, and community development in Antigua and Barbuda. His Excellency was knighted in 2003 for his contributions to the nation.

Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda

The Honourable Gaston Browne is the current Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, having assumed office in 2014.  He was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2004, representing the constituency of St. John’s City West and subsequently became the leader of the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) in 2012. Before entering politics, the Prime Minister had a successful career in business, particularly in the banking and real estate sectors.  Prime Minister Browne has prioritised economic diversification, strengthening the country’s tourism industry, attracting foreign investment, and modernising infrastructure. Under his leadership, the government has also worked on social programs aimed at improving education, healthcare, and housing for citizens.  Prime Minister Browne remains a central figure in shaping the political and economic future of Antigua and Barbuda.

Minister of Foreign Affairs for Antigua and Barbuda

The Honourable Everly Paul (E.P) Chet Greene is a distinguished Antiguan politician and serves as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Barbuda Affairs within the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) administration. Minister Greene is also a senior member of the House of Representatives, representing the constituency of St. Paul. Greene has been recognised throughout his tenure for advocating rural development, food security, and environmental sustainability. As a key member of the government, he has worked to improve the lives of Antiguans and Barbudans through better infrastructure, job creation, and policies designed to boost the local economy. Greene’s leadership extends beyond just governance; he has been an ardent supporter of the youth, encouraging education and training programs to prepare the next generation for the workforce.
