Updated Curfew Regulations and Guidelines as of 7 May 2020

The Cabinet of Antigua and Barbuda amended the enacted curfew regulations and guidelines to curb the spread of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) in Antigua and Barbuda.

The Cabinet has added the following businesses to conduct business during the 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM period with strict adherence to the social distancing protocols:

  • Trade Unions 
  • Undertakers/Funeral Parlous 
  • Accounts Offices 

In addition, with effect from May 11th, Money Services Businesses, Hairdressers and barbershops will be permitted to open from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM under the following conditions:

All Money Services Businesses conducting money transfers pursuant to a Class A licence issued by the Financial Services Regulatory Commission.

Hairdressing salons and barbershops are permitted to operate from Monday 11th May, under the following conditions:

  • The business operates under strict guidelines established by the Ministry of Health and the Central Board of Health
  • Copies of the guidelines must be displayed inside the work area in full view of patrons.  Must be placed on the entry door of hairdressing salons and barbershops.
