Passport Office Extends Passport Recall and Implements New Business Hours
The Passport Office of Antigua and Barbuda wishes to inform the general public of its adjusted opening hours effective 26 March 2020. These new hours are in keeping with government’s policy regarding social distancing.
Therefore, effective Thursday, 26 March, the Passport Office will open at 8:30 AM and close at 12:00 PM – Monday to Friday. The public is further informed that only fifteen (15) persons will be allowed to enter the Passport Office and sit in the public area at any one time. This new policy is to safeguard the health and well-being of members of staff and the public.
In addition, the deadline for the recall of machine-readable passports has been extended to 31 December 2020 to accommodate persons, who as a result of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, will not be able to submit applications in time for the previous June deadline.
The Passport Office wishes to thank the public for its cooperation and understanding as we seek to do our part in combatting the spread of the COVID-19.
