Commonwealth Secretary-General Meets with Prime Minister Gaston Browne

Commonwealth Secretary-General, Rt Hon Baroness Patricia Scotland QC paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister, Hon Gaston Browne. 

In welcoming Baroness Scotland who is on an unofficial visit to Antigua and Barbuda, Prime Minister Browne reflected on her leadership of the Commonwealth Secretariat and its work across Member States and extended his best wishes. Baroness Scotland also took the opportunity while on the island to attend the recently held ‘Annual New Year’s National Service of Thanksgiving and Prayers’ at the St. John’s Pentecostal House of Restoration Ministries last Sunday. 

The Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHoGM) is scheduled for 22-27 June 2020 in Kigali, Rwanda. Prime Minister Browne will be leading a delegation to the biennial summit.
